Jamie Marinis

Jamie is an Assistant Professor at Tiffin University, where she teaches communications and career readiness. She also serves as the Chair for Cultural Immersion Programs overseeing study abroad and educational travel opportunities for students. In addition, Marinis has served as the Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Calvert High School since 2021. Jamie's passion for education stems from her own experience while a student at Kent State University (B.S. '03, M.Ed. '05). Since joining the TU family in 2005, she has held roles in advising, athletics, enrollment management, student affairs, international programs, and academic affairs. Across all positions, her focus has remained constant: empowering students to discover their potential and achieve success. A strong advocate for leveraging individual strengths, Jamie emphasizes the importance of collaboration and teamwork. An Ohio native, Jamie has been part of the Tiffin community for over two decades, where she and her husband proudly raise their two children. Marinis and her husband have been fortunate to witness and participate in the economic growth and development throughout Seneca county. Jamie is committed to guiding and mentoring the next generation of innovative leaders.
